I suppose now is as good time as any to update the journal, ne?

Since my last update, I was so excited because I had a visitor... someone who actually came to see me! Yup, twas a lovely weekend and I was truly sad when Sunday dawned. He brightened my weekend, my week... it was just fantastic! He has pictures if you care to see the Riverwalk. *smiles with the memories*

Alas, I've commemorated thirteen months with Ryan...! That was so awesome! Went to Pirate Weekend at the RenFest (again, he has pics), we even got to have dinner with his folks (yay for Mel's)! The following weekend was Halloween. I stayed here in SA and went to help my aunt and uncle hand out candy to their 200+ kids that came by for a "trick or treat". Dude, my uncle made my night when he came running out of the side of the house holding a running chainsaw!!! It scared the living hell out of the kids!! I was ROLLING, I was laughing so hard!! I, of course, was dressed as a classic goth (ish) Vampire! Not some twilight spoof, nah, I looked good!! n__n!!

Past that, I came home the following weekend (Nov 6-8), got to spend the time with my mom. She's still recovering from her shoulder surgery, and has been left at the house with nothing to do.... A nice visit was a spur of the moment decision. It was so funny!! I got to Spring Cypress, and Ryan, on the phone with me and not knowing I was coming into town, was SHOCKED when I asked if he was busy at the moment to meet me at Starbucks!! n___n!! Dude!! I was glomped, clung to, huggled, and loved on!! *squee*

Jeez, not much for an update during the week, ne? I've had a lot of tests and exams that following week. OH!! Before this week occurred.... a horrific event took place. It was raining really hard as I was on my way back to SA. I was on I-10, passing Seguin, when I hit water and hydroplaned. I was in the right lane and spun out to the middle of the grassy median between the two sides of I-10. I was very lucky for two things. 1) I didn't flip my car and start to roll as I came down that hill, 2) I didn't continue spinning into the other side of I-10. This is the section of I-10 that doesn't have a fence or barrier in the middle of the median. Alas, I was alright, shook up and cursing up a storm, but I was alright. My car.... had a LOT of grass all over it... and minor damage. I bent the lower front part of my bumper and license plate. Needless to say, I only had recurring nightmares for the next week, but I've learned my lesson to SLOW DOWN.

The following weekend, the culture club from Lone Star College had scheduled to go to the RenFest for their annual fall trip! I thank Joseph so much for having a spare ticket!! I went again for the third time to the RenFest!! It was lots of fun and I was really happy to see the members of CC!! Oh, how I miss them all!! It was kool to see the newbies of the club too!! n___n!!

Alas, that's mostly my update. I've struggled (finally with success) to write a paper for my class. There's only three grades given in that class- the midterm, the paper, and the final..... all grades are crucial... and I royally bombed my midterm...soo.... I need to do really well for everything else. I don't see myself coming into town til after the semester ends... =/
